Dear Parents and Carers,
We are waiting for information from the Department of Education that is due at the end of term so we can have clarity around holding Year 6 farewell events.
As soon as we know, I will share the same information with you. The Leadership team and the Year 6 teachers will then meet to make decisions around how the restrictions might impact their event. It may mean contacting the event centre to gather more information and this might take a day or so. We promise we will be celebrating our Year 6 students in some significant way.
Again, as soon as a decision is reached, we will let our community know.
The other information we are waiting to hear about is Presentation Day assemblies. We will be given information in the same update so will also make some decisions around this and let you know. Presentation day assemblies will go ahead in some form.
Kindergarten Orientation will be a virtual presentation without any change anticipated at present.
The end of year whole school events to the movies and Year 6 bowling are excursions. All excursions are currently banned. We will see what happens with the new updates at the end of the term.
Thanking our wonderful community for their continued support.
Kylie Donovan
